What are cenotes?
The cenotes in Mexico are crystal clear water sinkholes, connected by a network of underground rivers which by nature can vary in shape and characteristics, each of them hides a special beauty that you can admire in the Yucatan Peninsula. The word cenote comes from the Mayan dzonot, which means cave with water. There are open, semi-open, ancient, and cavern cenotes.

What is the minimum age to participate in the tour?
The minimum age is six . Children ages 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult admission price. It is essential to present an official ID to your tour operator.

What clothing and shoes are recommended?
We recommend you bring a swimsuit, water shoes, shorts, a t-shirt and a change of clothes for when you finish the tour.
